Ishkoman valley is one of the most
unprivileged areas in terms of educational development.
This valley, at least has a population of twenty thousand
in all and for this huge population the number of
educational institutions is as under.
Government Schools: 25 (more or less)
High Schools: 03
Middle Schools: 05
Primary Schools: 17
Private educational institutions:
D.J High Schools: 03
D.J Middle Schools: 04
Dj Primary Schools: 14(more or less)
Public Schools: 02
Apart from the above mentioned
institutions, an intermediate college has recently been
established. As earlier we have claimed that education is
the most important factor in the human development.
Education has the same importance for the Ishkoman valley,
if the valley intends to progress then nothing other than
education is the best source. Here, in Ishkoman valley
people have limited sources of income; if they get
education they will earn enough income to make better the
quality of their lives. Moreover, by getting education the
people of Ishkoman can make progress in the field of
agriculture which is the back bone of the economy of the
valley. Increase of education will enable the people of
the valley to pay attention to other sources of economy
such as mining, hand craft, cottage industries etc.
Increment in the field of education has a plenty of other
advantages for the people of the area, such as, they will
be able to save their culture and language; moreover they
can enrich their culture and language by using modern
technology. Because of all the above mentioned reasons we
can say that education is a matter of do or die for this
valley.
