Fruits:

 Ghizer is one of the district of Gilgit Baltistan in which a very huge quantity of fruits are available. Punial is the heart of the district Ghizer Punial also means "plate of fruits". In every village of this tehsil, all type of fruits are available there.

 Fresh fruits  
 

Pomegranate:  Pomegranate is famous for its unique taste and found in all tehsils of district Ghizer especially inPunial in the months of July to September. it has two kinds "sour and sweet".
Cherry: In district Ghizer cherry is found in few variety. It is a good looking fruit and it is full of taste. it has two kinds "black and red".
Fig: Fig is also found in every tehsil almost in Punial. It is very unique and tasty fruit as related to other fruits. Figs are seasonal fruits but regenerated three times in a season. It is dried and exported to other parts of country and worldwide.
Apples: Apples are found in every tehsil of district Ghizer in huge quantity. It has many kinds but the famous two are "five star and golden".
Pear: Pear is the sweetest fruit and is found in each tehsil especially in Ishkoman and Punial valleys. It has the quality of durability and can be stored for long times.
Grapes: Grapes are also found in every tehsil of district Ghizer and it is also used for making juice. It has many kinds, some of these are "Margun, Gashochi" etc(in Shina language). Grapes have also black and green colors.
Apricot: Apricot is commonly found in every tehsil of district Ghizer. Apricots are of many kinds, mostly the apricot is used for dried apricot, the sweet apricot kernels are also used for making kilao and bitter kernels are used for oil extractions.

Dry fruits:

Almond: Almonds are the most valuable cash crops of  district Ghizer.It is found in tons of tons every year. Almonds are of two types "hard and soft".
Walnuts: Walnuts are found a huge quantity every year. It is also valuable cash crops. There are two types of walnuts "soft and hard"  and can be stored for long time. Walnuts are specially used for making kilao.
Apricot kernels Apricot kernels are found in all tehsils in a huge quantity. There are two types of apricot kernels sweet and bitter. The sweet kernels are used for making kilao and bitter for oil extraction.
Dried Apricot  The dried apricot are of two colors red and white and some are also mixed. Dried apricots are the dry form of apricots and are mostly used in winters.
Kilao  Kilao is the most famous product of Punial. It is made in the tehsil Punial of District Ghizer as well as Gilgit Baltistan. There are two kinds of kilaofirst one is almond kernels and second one is apricot kernels. The ingredients of kilao are "grape juice+almond kernels and grape juice+apricot kernels"
